Do I need my Steam password?
Not necessarily. In “Steam app” mode Hours Booster 2 attaches to your already signed-in Steam client – no credentials at all. Only “Direct” mode (own login, several accounts) needs a username and password; they are stored encrypted on your PC and sent to Steam only.
What happens right after I buy?
You land on a page with your license key and the download. Paste the key the first time Hours Booster 2 starts – done. Keep it safe, it is your proof of purchase.
Which Windows versions does it run on?
Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). It is a single .exe file; nothing else needs to be installed.
Do I get updates?
Yes, all of them – at no extra cost. Hours Booster 2 checks for a new version at start-up and installs it with one click if you like.
How many games at the same time?
32 with a single Steam account. All 32 are credited playtime in the same minute – that is the limit Steam itself sets. In Direct mode you can run several accounts side by side, each with its own 32 games.
Is there a trial version?
No. Hours Booster 2 is deliberately simple: buy, paste the key, go. If anything goes wrong, support helps by email.
How many accounts can I run at the same time?
In “Direct” mode as many as you like – every account is its own Steam connection with up to 32 games; Hours Booster 2 has no fixed cap. In “Steam app” mode it is the one account signed in to your Steam client. Steam does limit how many logins it accepts from one IP address in a short time, so with very many accounts simply spread the starts out a little.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. Hours Booster 2 keeps checking your licence with the licence server, and signing in to Steam needs the internet anyway. If the licence server cannot be reached, Hours Booster 2 keeps running for up to 14 days – even after a restart. Your licence works on one PC at a time: enter the key on another PC and Hours Booster 2 runs there instead, stopping on the first one. Moving to a new PC is therefore easy – just paste the key.
